This week on the Daily Timez!

Hello you guys. It looks like we are in the works on creating another epsode of 3 Guys Don’t Lie to be filmed next Sunday. We will be Interviewing April, author of Skin a Dog, the book we featured last blog. I willmake sure I post the footage so you can see it first here and then send it through the other channels. This is what’s so special about the Daily Timez as the is the first source for information, everything eles is secondary to the Daily Timezzzzzz.

So now to business:

I had the opportunity to purchase the new Nexus 1 unit( I’m such the consumer). This is the first phone by Google which also carries the Android OS. I won’t bore you with the specs and rumors of being an iphone killer( in a manner of speaking). Although I love this phone and think it is far superior to the other phones out there today. I have to be 100% truthful with you guys and I won’t whine about the hefty price tag (530.00)that is attached for the purchase of this Android phone an the fact that I had to sell my other two phones to get it, but I will say that I’m a little frustrated with GOOGLE at this time. The customer service sucks big time.
Here’s the deal…My phone in particular has a bug that causes the phone to power of at random. Im not sure why, when contacting GOOGLE about the problem they point the finger to HTC, who manufactures the phone. The problem with this is that GOOGLE does not have a number directly to them to call for problems yet you have to buy directly from them to get this phone. HTC although very great with their customer service, points the finger back at GOOGLE for a swap out on a defective device. Needless to say, both companies’ don’t want to take the responsibility on the policy on replacement or refund. So, you’re left wandering aimlessly trying to find a solution. The end result to my dilemma is spending another 530 dollars( totals over 1000.00) on a unit to get a working unit back and send the defective unit back and then they will reimburse me (or take off hold) the amount to my credit card. This is such a frustration not to mention in my opinion ludicrous to me. Unfortunate that the high regard I had for GOOGLE slowly diminishes. Hopefully, Google will stand up and resolve this electronic migraine that I’m having with this unit and we all can live happily ever after. The phone itself get a 3 out of five stars from me, as the customer service stops it from being a perfect 5.

What's new?

Had another photo shoot this past Sunday with client’s KINDRED family Soul. It was a 3 part photo shoot that captured all of their kids (5 in total, 1 on the way), in addition to Mommy & Daddy. The shoot went realy well and everyone had a great time. I want to thank NIKKI LONDON boutique for providing the attire and accessories for AJA of Kindred and Dion the Photog. I can’t wait to post the real pic’s but until then here is the exclusive photos from the set directly off of my camera phone (yes it was the NEXUS 1). You are seeing them first and will post to my facebook later this week.

Lastly,

I can’t end without sending my prayers to the people of HAITI, as well as the workers and volunteers that took their time and money to go and help. I wish the best for my friends over there and am very positive that something positive will come from this. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and I will always support as much as I can. Until next time, stay fashionable and keep pursuing your goals.
Fashionably yours,
Charles Gregory

Fashion Tips & Style Trends For Men

______________________________________________
Ok fellas,
As women have essential items to staple into there fashionable lifestyles, so do we. The weather gets cooler, the chill sets in, the time comes to prepare. A must have item all men should have would be an Overcoat.

Timez have chanced so, the traditional winter Goose Down has morphed to the sleek looking wool and or cashmere pieces. They also come in blendz but, you don't have to go classic. Renditions of the over coat have arrived in various forms and varieties. For example, the military inspired over coat has made its way in the gentlemans must have.

If you were paying attention to your favorite sitcoms, videos and or even coverage on the Red Carpet. You can see versions of the over coat.
To this Fall/Winter grab an over coat and leave the leather bombers in the closet.

August 15, 2007—Valextra has become the luggage of choice for the twenty-first-century jet-setter. Now the Italian luxury brand has come up with a duo of nautically inclined bags for those moments when the twenty-first-century jet-setter swaps his Gulfstream for the Gulf Stream. Developed in conjunction with Argentinean yacht designer German Frers, the two-piece offering is made from leather-trimmed canvas, and available in either cream or navy. Befitting the marine theme, it's also completely waterproof (in case the onboard Jacuzzi overflows, perhaps). A sleek, 2.3-inch-deep garment bag can be folded and carried like a suitcase and features a lengthy side zipper for easy access. Even smarter is the soft trunk (available in two sizes), which contains, Voltron-style, up to nine freestanding compartments for shoes, grooming products, and clothes. (The outer bag can be unzipped and packed away.) Fittingly, Valextra CEO Massimo Suppancig and designer Frers developed the idea for the bags while sailing near Portofino, Italy. “The pieces must be useful, and they must be beautiful” was the pair’s objective, according to Suppancig. “In the end," he adds, "we were successful.” Tough to disagree, though isn’t there a saying about a man waxing his own yacht?

Valextra / Frers Design garment bag, $2,950; small trunk, $3,480; and large trunk, large trunk $4,790; available at Barneys New York, 660 Madison Ave., NYC, (212) 826-8900, www.barneys.com; and Saks Fifth Avenue, 611 Fifth Ave., NYC, (877) 551-7257, www.saks.com. Not sure what to pack? Get some ideas here.

The Tux you must have.

0k fellaz, an essential and must have piece for every man is a tuxedo. Now you’re probably asking yourself, “What do I need a tux for???”

Well, their will be one measly time in your life where you will have to look distinguished. You will attend either a wedding, a black and white ball, a new years soirée and possibly, a night on the town with your significant other where she for a chance, get to wear that gown she’s been dying to wear.

Most Tuxedos are standard in style so, you don’t have to worry about your fashion ooops’ if you keep it simple. Yes, a tuxedo will set you back a few hundred smackeroo’s however, you will have it forever, and you don’t ever have to worry about who had it on B4 you. Now, I’m not telling you to spend your life savings on a tuxedo buy DIOR, but invest in yourself. You are worth it. “Aren’t you???” Well, I could be wrong!!!

Fashion Tip "Bad Guys' Wears Gray"

Ok People!

Gray can be a ferocious color if paired just rite. I know, I know, you are comfortable with the black assemble that you ware to funerals, on dates, to the game, and to visit mom, because you haven’t returned her calls for a week.

I’m guilty too however, brighten up your wardrobe with the “New black” without worrying about the color shock.
